GENERAL TERMS OF SALE

ARTICLE 1: GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

  • JEFF DE BRUGES DIFFUSION is a simplified joint stock company with capital of 16,000,000 euros, having its registered office at Parc du Bel Air, 12 Avenue Joseph Paxton 77164 Ferrières-en-Brie, registered with the Meaux Trade and Companies Register under number 449 989 947 (hereinafter referred to as “Jeff de Bruges”).
    These general terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) govern the entire relationship between JEFF DE BRUGES DIFFUSION and the customers of its website “www.jeff-de-bruges.com” (the “Website” or the “Website”) which allows orders for future products to be collected at one of the Jeff de Bruges stores offering the Click & Collect service or intended to be delivered to home.
    Full adherence to the Conditions, developed below in fourteen items, is necessary and essential in order to be able to place an order.
    Consequently, the buyer may not invoke enforceability on any clause, the placing of an order constituting an express acceptance thereof. They shall therefore govern the relations between Jeff de Bruges and any major natural person or any legal person, on the occasion of the sale of products offered on the Jeff de Bruges site, for delivery to the countries listed in Article 6 of these Conditions. It is however specified that the provisions of the French Consumer Code set out in these general terms and conditions of sale shall not apply to legal entities, public or private, whether or not acting for professional purposes, as well as to any natural persons acting for purposes falling within the scope of their commercial, industrial, artisanal, independent or agricultural activity, including when they act in the name or on behalf of another professional, in accordance with the introductory Article of the French Consumer Code.
    The buyer will be referred to in this document as “you”.
  • You acknowledge that you have full capacity to commit to these Terms when placing orders on the Jeff de Bruges site.
  • When you first order, you can create a customer account: you choose and enter a username and password. A uniqueity check of the identifier is then made by the system. This password, strictly confidential, will be asked to you for each transaction.
    You agree to take care of this identifier. You must immediately report in writing any loss in order to release you from liability.
    If you lose or forget your password, you can click on the “Forgot password” link and enter your e-mail address. You will receive by e-mail a link to reset a new password once your e-mail address is recognised.
    You can also place an order without creating a customer account. You will then be asked for the information only necessary for this order.
  • In view of the possible changes to the Site, Jeff de Bruges reserves the right to adapt or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The new general terms and conditions of sale will, where applicable, be brought to your attention by online modification and will only be applicable to sales made after the modification.

ARTICLE 2: JEFF DE BRUGES PRODUCTS

  • The list and characteristics of the products offered on the Jeff de Bruges Site may be modified and adapted at any time to better meet your expectations and/or depending on the stocks available.
    Product information can be accessed by clicking on the product designation or photograph. These indications are intended, without being exhaustive, to inform you as fully as possible about the essential characteristics of the products.
    The products offered on the Site comply with French legislation and the standards applicable in France.
    The products are offered for sale, at the prices and under the conditions mentioned, as long as they are present on the Site (within the limit of available stocks).
    “customised dragées” means custom compositions including sugar-coated objects and containers that can be customised on the Site, with the exception of dragées sold in bulk.
    “bulk Products” means all other products offered on the Site.

ARTICLE 3: THE PRICE OF JEFF DE BRUGES PRODUCTS

  • The sale prices of the products marketed on the Website are expressed in euros, including all taxes, excluding customisation and shipping costs. They take into account the French VAT in force. Any change in the French VAT rate will be immediately reflected in our prices.
    The commercial offers indicated on the Website are valid only on the products indicated on the Website, with the exception of 20% discount offers offered as part of our Jeff Club loyalty programme (see Article 7 below), valid on all products indicated by a “Jeff Club” pastille in the “Snacking” category on the Site, and on the products of the “Jeff, the breakfasts of the day-to-day” range in the Jeff de Bruges stores listed on Boutiques Jeff Club 2022 [PDF — 362 Kb] and within the limit of available stocks. They may not be combined with each other, nor with any offers or loyalty programs in progress on the Site, unless otherwise stated in the details of the offer.
    The prices invoiced are those in force on the day of the order.
    In the event that you have created a customer account (“Online Sales Account”), a validation e-mail containing a summary of your order is sent to you and your invoice is also available on your customer account as from the dispatch of your order. You can download and/or print it from the “My Orders” section.
    In the absence of an Online Sales Account, a validation e-mail containing a summary of your order is sent to you upon dispatch of your order.

ARTICLE 4: PLACING THE ORDER

  • Online orders are only made through the Site which presents a selection of Jeff de Bruges products.
    Orders made by post or by telephone are not taken into account.
    All products ordered on the Site are summarised (your basket) before you are invited to confirm your order by selecting the Click & Collect store or indicating the home delivery address.
    Payment of the price of the products makes your order final. It may therefore no longer be cancelled or modified, subject to the application of Article 4.3 below.
    For customisable product orders, customisation is carried out within the limit of the number of characters present on the Jeff de Bruges site.
    The personalisation of tapes and draged objects is done exclusively in Roman characters and in capital letters (example: JULIE AND PIERRE). The date of the event can be written in full letters depending on the available place (example: 13 JUNE 2022), or separated from one point (example: 13.06.2022), a indent (example: 13-06-2022) or space (example: 13 06 2022). Special characters and punctuation signs other than the point or indent shall not be accepted.


  • Jeff de Bruges informs you of the validation of your order. This validation is sent to you by e-mail in which an order number is indicated to you.
    All the information you give when placing the order is binding on you and in particular those concerning the recipient of the order (name, address and any anomalies generated by this fact cannot be borne by Jeff de Bruges in the event that it is unable to fulfil the order and to carry it out properly as a result of these anomalies.

    Exceptionally, depending on available stocks, we may not be able to:
    - validate your order. In this case, you will receive an e-mail informing you of the absence of validation of your order and you will not be charged the amount thereof; - make available to you, as part of a Click & Collect order, certain products that are the subject of your order. In this case, you will receive an e-mail informing you and will be debited of the price of the products available.
  • 4.3.1. In accordance with Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the “consumer” buyer within the meaning of the introductory article of the Consumer Code has a period of fourteen (14) clear days from receipt of any product ordered on the Site to exercise his right of withdrawal from Jeff de Bruges at the end of reimbursement. The buyer does not have to justify reasons or pay penalties.
    The right of withdrawal may be exercised, before the expiry of this period of fourteen (14) clear days, with Jeff de Bruges by unambiguous letter sent to the address JEFF DE BRUGES - Consumer Service - Parc du Bel Air, 12 avenue Joseph Paxton - 77164 Ferrières en Brie, or by means of the withdrawal form, a template of which is provided in Appendix 1 of these Conditions. An acknowledgement of receipt of this withdrawal form will then be sent by Jeff de Bruges. After the expiry of the period of fourteen (14) clear days referred to above, no request for withdrawal shall be admissible.

    4.3.2. It is recalled that all products ordered on the Site by a “consumer” buyer within the meaning of the introductory article of the French Consumer Code may be subject to a right of withdrawal, with the exception of products designated by Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code. Indeed, in accordance with this article, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised in particular for contracts (i) for the supply of goods made according to the consumer’s specifications or clearly customised, (ii) the supply of goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly and (iii) the supply of goods which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.
    Orders for customised dragées falling within the scope of one of these exceptions, the buyer cannot exercise a right of withdrawal for these products.

    4.3.3. With regard to products that may be subject to a right of withdrawal, the buyer must return them, accompanied by proof of purchase, to the address JEFF DE BRUGES - Consumer Service - Parc du Bel Air, 12 avenue Joseph Paxton - 77164 Ferrières en Brie, within fourteen (14) days of the communication of his decision to withdraw, in their original packaging, unsealed, opened or started. The costs of returning the products shall be borne by the buyer.

    4.3.4. In the event of exercise of the right of withdrawal under the conditions of this article, the price of the product(s) returned, as well as the standard delivery costs of the initial order, will be refunded to the buyer, but not the return costs. The refund will be made by Jeff de Bruges, who will use the same means of payment as that used by the buyer to place the initial order, within fourteen (14) days of the date on which Jeff de Bruges was informed of the buyer’s decision to withdraw. Jeff de Bruges may nevertheless postpone the refund until the buyer has provided proof of shipment of the returned product(s) or until the recovery of such product(s) if it occurs prior to the provision of said proof of shipment.

    4.3.5. It is expressly understood that, in accordance with Article 1 of these general terms and conditions of sale, the right of withdrawal provided for in Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code does not apply to legal entities, public or private, whether or not acting for professional purposes, as well as to any natural person acting for purposes falling within the scope of its commercial, industrial, craft, self-employed or agricultural activity, including when they act in the name or on behalf of another professional.

ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT OF THE ORDER

  • Online payment is made in euros, in cash and for the full amount of the order. It can be done either by credit card (blue card, VISA, Mastercard, American Express), or PayPal.
    In order to provide you with the most reliable and secure service, we have chosen Ingenico Payment Services’ payment system. Entries are encrypted (SSL encryption) to move securely and confidentially. No payment data is stored on our Site. Your payment request is sent in real time on the Ingenico Payment Services secure payment system, which ensures in particular that your credit card is valid (no entry error, no objection), confirms the registration of your payment by issuing a transaction number, or informs you that the transaction is refused. Your account is then debited from the total amount of your order.

ARTICLE 6: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SERVICES FOR SENDING PRODUCTS

  • When ordering, depending on the products you order, several shipping services may be offered to you, subject to certain conditions set out below: pick-up of your in-store order (“Click & Collect” service) or two methods of home delivery: either delivery by courier or home shipment.

    Depending on the products you order, the shipping services available are indicated to you by the presence of a pictogram on the product sheet of each product.
  • 6.1.1. Terms
    The ordered products will be delivered to metropolitan France (Corsica included) as well as in certain European countries for home shipment (see Article 6.1.3.1 of the Conditions). Delivery takes place according to the deadlines indicated for each delivery method and to the address you have entered when ordering on the Site. The delivery consists of making the ordered product available to the address you have indicated.

    6.1.2. Delivery times
    Delivery times are in principle those mentioned in these Conditions.
    At the time of your order, however, different delivery times may be sent to you, particularly during periods of high peak activity (end of year, Easter, etc.).
    In any event, in the event of force majeure, the delivery time communicated to you may be extended. If the ordered products are not delivered within the specified deadlines, for any reason other than force majeure or that are attributable to you, the sale may be cancelled at your request under the conditions provided for in Articles L. 216-2 and L. 216-3 of the French Consumer Code. The sums paid at the time of your order will be returned to you no later than fourteen (14) days following the date of termination of the contract, excluding any compensation or withholding.

    6.1.3. Methods of home delivery
    6.1.3.1. Home shipment
    Products that can be shipped to your home by a transporter are indicated on the site by a “home shipping” pictogram.
    In metropolitan France, Corsica included, home shipments are provided by Colissimo or Chronopost traditional or Chronofresh, at your choice. During summer periods, and whenever external temperatures do not ensure optimal routing of orders, Colissimo and Chronopost services are suspended and replaced by Chronofresh, with the exception of Corsica where Chronofresh does not deliver.
    In the European countries listed in the table below, home shipments are carried out by Chronopost.
    The delivery costs, which depend on the amount of your shopping cart, are indicated at the time of your order.
    The order is tracked by the transporter. An e-mail will be sent to you by him when the parcel is picked up at Jeff de Bruges and upon delivery to your home.

    • Delivery times:
    The delivery time takes into account the preparation time in our workshops as well as the transporter’s routing time. Orders are received from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), as a result orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays are processed on Monday or Tuesday depending on the stock available.
    For customised dragée orders, the delivery time is 10 (ten) days from the placing of the order. The delivery time takes into account the preparation time in our workshops as well as the transporter’s routing time. Jeff de Bruges makes every effort to meet the delivery times. However, Jeff de Bruges cannot be held liable for any delays in delivery due to a major party with high delivery traffic (Christmas, Saint Valentine, Mother’s Day, etc.) or any case of force majeure.
    For orders made up of customised dragées and bulk products, the longest delivery time applies.
    Working days of our workshops: Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
    Business days for transporters: Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

    • Delivery address
    You are responsible for the information relating to the name and address of the recipient of the order. These information must be precise, accurate and complete (including the door code and floor where applicable) to enable delivery. Jeff de Bruges may under no circumstances be held liable for a return of delivery due to an error of address or an impossibility of delivering to the address indicated.
    For any home shipment, we ask you to ensure the presence of the recipient or its representative on the day of delivery.
    In the absence of the recipient or its representative, the transporter shall leave a delivery notice to the delivery address with instructions on the steps to be taken to recover the parcel within a specified time. If the recipient or its representative does not pick up the package within this period, delivery will be deemed to have been made and no refund or re-shipment of the product to another address will be made. For reasons also related to the perishable nature of the product, it is strongly recommended to remove it at the pick-up point indicated by the transporter within 24 working hours with the notice of passage and an identity document. If the parcel is not removed within the aforementioned period, Jeff de Bruges cannot be held liable for any damage or deterioration of the products.

    In the event that the delivery address indicated corresponds to a public establishment (eg.: hospital, etc.) or a private establishment (company, clinic, retirement home) and the parcel cannot be delivered by hand to the recipient, the delivery will then be deemed to have been made from the moment the parcel has been handed over to the reception or service of the establishment dedicated to the receipt of the goods. Furthermore, it is your responsibility to ensure that the establishment accepts the delivery of your order. Indeed, in the event that the establishment refuses to receive your order, given this breach by the recipient of its obligations and the perishable nature of the product, the delivery will be considered as made and no refund or re-shipment of the order to another address will be made.

    6.1.3.2. Delivery by courier
    At the time of your order, you may be offered a delivery by courier, provided that:

    - The products ordered correspond to products indicated on the site by a pictogram “delivery by courier”;

    - The delivery address you have indicated is included in the “delivery area” of a Jeff de Bruges store located in Metropolitan France. You will be able to verify the eligibility of the postal code of the delivery address before your products are placed in the basket.

    - This store has all the products making up your order in its stocks.
    The flat rate for this service is €12.

    • Delivery times
    Delivery times per courier vary depending on the service chosen: delivery in at least 24 hours over a time slot of 2 hours, or delivery on a given date and time slot. In the second case, you choose a delivery date and slot from among those offered to you, which may be up to 10 days after the date of validation of the order.
    For customised dragée orders, the delivery time is 10 (ten) days from the placing of the order.
    For orders made up of customised dragées and bulk products, the longest delivery time applies.

    • Delivery address
    You are responsible for information relating to the recipient’s name and address. These information must be precise, accurate and complete (including the door code and floor where applicable) to enable delivery. Jeff de Bruges may not under any circumstances be held liable for a return of delivery due to an error of address or an impossibility of delivering to the address indicated.
    In the event that the delivery address indicated corresponds to a public establishment (eg.: hospital, etc.) or a private establishment (company, clinic, retirement home) and the parcel cannot be delivered by hand to the recipient, the delivery will then be deemed to have been made from the moment the parcel has been handed over to the reception or service of the establishment dedicated to the receipt of the goods. Furthermore, it is your responsibility to ensure that the establishment accepts the delivery of your order. Indeed, in the event that the establishment refuses to receive your order, given this breach by the recipient of its obligations and the nature of the products, the delivery will be considered as made and no refund or re-shipment of the order to another address will be made.
    For any delivery by courier, we ask you to ensure the presence of the recipient or its representative on the day of delivery. If the recipient of the order or its representative is not present, the order will be available in the Jeff de Bruges store, which will be communicated to you by e-mail, for a period of 14 days. Beyond this period, given this breach by the recipient of its obligations and the nature of the products, the delivery will be deemed to have been made and no refund or re-shipment of the order to another address will be made.
  • All products for sale on the Site are also offered as Click & Collect, within the limit of stocks available in the store.
    At the time of your order, you can opt to withdraw your order in our Jeff de Bruges stores. By indicating your city or postal code, the closest Jeff de Bruges stores with all the products making up your order in their stocks are then offered to you.
    This service is available seven (7) days a week during the opening hours of the stores offering this service and excluding the days on which they are closed. A preparation period of two hours minimum and up to two business days after validation of the order is necessary for any order made during the store’s opening hours you have chosen.
    Your order will be available in the chosen store within a minimum of two hours after confirmation of the order and taking into account the opening hours of the chosen store.

    For customised dragée orders, the availability time is 10 (ten) days from the placing of the order.

    For orders made up of customised dragées and bulk products, the customer will have the option of coming to pick up his order:
    - in two instalments: from the time the bulk products are made available, then from the time the customised dragées are made available.
    - in a single time once the entire order is available in store.

    It must be removed no later than 14 days after validation of the order. If you are not presented in the chosen store within this period, given this breach by the recipient of its obligations and the nature of the products, the delivery will be deemed to have been made and no refund or re-shipment of the order to another address will be made given this breach by the recipient of its obligations and the nature of the products.

    In the event of force majeure, the preparation deadline may be extended.

    To collect your order, you must go to the box of the chosen store with a valid ID, as well as the single withdrawal code received by e-mail, or your order confirmation if you do not have the code.

    You are required to ensure that your order is compliant at the time of its withdrawal.

  • Jeff de Bruges insures the risks of loss and deterioration of the products until the delivery of the said products to the recipient. Delivery consists of making the order available to the address you have indicated for home delivery and by hand delivery of the order in the case of Click & Collect.

ARTICLE 7: JEFF CLUB PROGRAMME MEMBERSHIP AND APPLICATION CONDITIONS

  • The Jeff Club programme is offered to you by Jeff de Bruges Diffusion SAS - capital €16,000,000 - Trade and Companies Register of Meaux 448 989 947 - registered office: 12 Avenue Joseph Paxton - Parc du Bel Air - 77164 Ferrières-en-Brie
    Intra-Community VAT No.: FR 76 448 989 947.
    The purpose of these membership and application conditions is to define the customer’s rights to the Jeff Club (hereinafter “the Member”) in the context of the use of the programme during purchases or visits made in the Jeff de Bruges stores members (listed on the following file: Boutiques Jeff Club 2022 [PDF — 362 Kb] or when purchasing on our Site.
    The purpose of the Jeff Club is to give the Member access to information, news and exclusive benefits on the products and services offered by Jeff de Bruges in the stores belonging to the Jeff Club programme, as well as on the website www.jeff-de-bruges.com.
    This Jeff Club programme is exclusively valid in the stores of the Jeff de Bruges network in Metropolitan France, Monaco and Luxembourg that have subscribed to the programme and on our online sales site. In the Jeff de Bruges d’Aubergenville, Corbeil Essonnes, Franconville La Garenne, L’Ile Saint Denis, Miramas, Talange and Villacoublay L’Usine Mode et Maison stores, the offers of the Jeff Club programme are not valid. Only membership is possible via the cash register, thus giving access to the programme offers in all other member stores.
  • The Member acknowledges having read these conditions prior to his membership of the Jeff Club. The Member warrants that he or she is at least 18 years of age and has full legal capacity to use this service. Any membership of the Jeff Club constitutes acceptance of these conditions without exception.
  • Jeff Club membership is free of charge. It is sufficient for the Member to agree to join the Jeff Club in store (by entering the fields requested at least when registering: e-mail address, name, postal code) or to create an Online Sales Account on our Site.
    The membership conditions for becoming a Member of the Jeff Club are as follows:
    • Be a natural person acting for personal purposes;
    • Being of legal age;
    • Being domiciled in Metropolitan France, Monaco or Luxembourg;
    • Being in possession of a personal e-mail address.

    Registration is made in the Jeff de Bruges store or by creating an Online Sales Account on the Site directly or via the scan of a specific QR code giving access to the same online form as it is on the Site. The Member’s account is strictly personal and may not be used by third parties. A company may not be a Member of the Jeff Club.
  • Only Jeff Club Members have access to and may benefit from the offers offered in this programme.
    In order to benefit from an offer, the Member must, before paying for their order:

    • in-store: give his name and postal code or e-mail address, or present his Jeff de Bruges digital card if he has access to a smartphone equipped with the Apple Wallet, Apple Cartes or Google Pay app according to smartphone models. The dematerialised card can be downloaded from the above-mentioned applications. It is not mandatory. For information, there is no equivalent material card for this programme.

    • on our Website: log in to its online sales account via its login details (e-mail address and password). Once connected to his/her account, the offers automatically apply to its basket according to the validity conditions specified for each offer.

    Offers may vary during the year and will be offered to all Members meeting the application conditions specific to each offer. The description of each offer will be specified on the site or in the store, in the details of the offer. The Member will only be able to benefit from these offers if it meets these conditions and only in the stores adhering to the Jeff Club (List available on the following Boutiques Jeff Club 2022 [PDF — 362 Kb]. Offers may not be combined with each other, nor with any other current offers or loyalty programmes in the Jeff de Bruges store or on the e-commerce website www.jeff-de-bruges.com, unless otherwise stated within the offer period.

  • The Member may terminate his membership of the Jeff Club and close his Member account at any time without notice. To do this, it must go to the “My Account” section on the Site. Unsubscribing to the Jeff Club account will automatically result in the deletion of the offers reserved for it. If the Member also has an Online Sales Account via the same e-mail address as the Jeff Club account, the deletion of the Jeff Club Account will automatically result in the deletion of their Online Sales Account.
    Any breach of these terms, any misuse or fraudulent use of the benefits offered by Jeff Club, or any behaviour detrimental to Jeff de Bruges’ interests, will automatically result in the removal of the Member Account, as well as the cancellation of the current offers, without notice or compensation of any kind.
    If Jeff de Bruges terminates the Jeff Club programme or if Member’s membership ends, all outstanding benefits will be lost or obsolete.
  • Jeff de Bruges reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Jeff Club and the membership and application conditions at any time subject to having previously informed the Members by e-mail. No modification or final stoppage of the Jeff Club may give rise to compensation to the Member for any reason whatsoever.

ARTICLE 8: COMPLAINTS

  • Jeff de Bruges makes every effort to satisfy you as much as possible. In this context, if you have a complaint to make, you can contact the Jeff de Bruges Consumer Service:
    - directly on our Website “www.jeff-de-bruges.com” via the “Assistance” button or via the form in the “Do you need help?” section.
    - by e-mail to the following address, for the attention of customer service: contactonline@jeff-de-bruges.com - by letter to the postal address JEFF DE BRUGES - Consumer Service - Parc du Bel Air, 12 avenue Joseph Paxton - 77164 Ferrières en Brie; - by telephone at +33 1 64 66 68 99 specifying the order number concerned if applicable.

    If the product has not been delivered, for any reason other than a case of force majeure or the aforementioned cases (absence of the recipient, incorrect information, the sale may be cancelled and you may obtain return of the amount of your order to the exclusion of any other compensation or damages, under the conditions provided for in Article L. 216-2 of the French Consumer Code. You must therefore, initially, enjoin Jeff de Bruges, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by another written document on a durable medium (e.g. electronic message) to make the delivery of the product within a reasonable additional period. It is only in the event that Jeff de Bruges has not performed during this new period, that you may, under the same terms, inform Jeff de Bruges that it cancels the sale.
    The refund will be made on the payment method used at the time of the order within 14 working days of receipt by our Consumer Service of your letter or written notice informing Jeff de Bruges of the cancellation of the sale, unless the delivery of the product has been made between the sending of your letter and its receipt.

    When you place an order as a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
    You have a period of two years from the delivery of the goods to act: you may choose between repair and replacement of the goods subject to the cost conditions provided for in Article L.217-9 of the French Consumer Code and you are exempted from providing proof of the existence of the lack of conformity of the goods for the two years following the delivery of the goods.
    This legal guarantee applies independently of any commercial warranty granted.
    You may also decide to implement the guarantee against hidden defects of the item sold within the meaning of Article 1641 of the French Civil Code and in this case, you may choose between the cancellation of the sale and a price reduction in accordance with Article 1644 of the French Civil Code.

    It is however expressly understood that, in accordance with Article 1 of these Conditions, the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code does not apply to legal entities, public or private, whether or not acting for professional purposes, as well as to any natural persons acting for purposes falling within the scope of its commercial, industrial, craft, self-employed or agricultural activity, including when they act in the name or on behalf of another professional.

    In case of return of products, these must be accompanied by proof of purchase, at Jeff de Bruges Diffusion SAS Parc du Bel Air, 12 avenue Joseph Paxton - Ferrières en Brie - 77164 Ferrières-en-Brie, indicating to us whether you wish to exchange or refund. To help us better serve you, please indicate the reason for your return on the back of the delivery slip.
    The refund is made on the payment method used at the time of the order. The refund period will not exceed 30 days from receipt of your refund request.
    In the event that the recipient of the order refuses its delivery for a reason other than legitimate (hidden defects, non-compliance), the order will not be reimbursed, subject to the application of Article 4.3 above.

ARTICLE 9: LIABILITIES

  • The indications relating to the products we sell, as appearing on the Website, are intended, without being exhaustive, to inform you as fully as possible about the essential characteristics of the products.
    However, colours can be altered by your screen (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) and we cannot guarantee them contractually.
    The photographs present on the Jeff de Bruges website are purely illustrative and cannot incur the liability of Jeff de Bruges for their accuracy.
    For customisable orders, Jeff de Bruges declines all responsibility in the event of an error in entering your personalisation text.
    We are only bound by an obligation of means with regard to the operation and continuity of the service on the Internet. We cannot therefore be held liable for the disadvantages and damages resulting from the use of the Internet network such as a disruption to the continuity of the service, the presence of computer viruses or external intrusions or, more generally, any case qualified as force majeure as defined in Article 13.
    The payment of the price of the products renders the order final, subject to the application of Article 4.3. above, and Jeff de Bruges cannot be held liable in the event that the information relating to the order proves to be incomplete, insufficient or incorrect and would not have allowed the mandated transporter to deliver or file the delivery notice.
    With regard to the Jeff Club programme, Jeff de Bruges cannot under any circumstances be held liable in the event of non-performance or improper performance of the services to which the Jeff Club entitles, which either is attributable to the Member, or is the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to these conditions, or would be due to a case of force majeure. Jeff de Bruges will nevertheless make every effort in the event of malfunction of the Jeff Club programme to keep each Member the benefit of its offers.

  • Our products are intended to be sold only in our distribution networks. As a result, it is forbidden to purchase our products for resale outside of our networks, particularly on websites. In addition to an infringement of our trademarks and the integrity of our products, such actions may result in civil liability and, where applicable, criminal liability of their perpetrators.

ARTICLE 12: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All elements of the Site, whether visual or audio, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks and patents. By connecting to the Site, you refrain from copying or downloading all or part of its content, except with the express prior authorisation of Jeff de Bruges.

ARTICLE 13: FORCE MAJEURE EVENT

  • Jeff de Bruges is exempt from liability, in all cases of force majeure, related to irresistible, unforeseeable and external circumstances. In particular, cases of force majeure are cases of loss or bad weather recognised; any pandemic and the consequences resulting therefrom; any governmental measures likely to restrict or prevent the proper performance of the services; any accident that caused the unavailability of stocks or supplies, or the cessation of operation; strike and lock-out, without the need to investigate by the act of whom the movement occurred; the lack of driving force or raw material resulting from a general cause, such as the stoppage of transport, interruption of electrical current, engine breakage; and any other cause suspending the production of goods, without it resulting from the Seller’s will. Also considered included are the aforementioned facts occurring at the raw material supplier’s premises or at any other establishment on which fulfilment of the order depends.

ARTICLE 14: APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

  • These Terms are subject to French law.
